MAKE MEASUREMENTS WITH THE POINT CLOUD

Get the point cloud from our laser scanning service, import into Recap or Revit or ArchiCAD, and then take as many measurements as you want. Measurements are accurate to within up to 1/8” of reality .With a point cloud, you can eliminate return visits because you always have a digital copy from which you can measure. You can also take measurements that are difficult to get in real life like pipes, trusses, and beams in the ceiling.

Before commissioning a 3D model, it is essential to determine the required level of accuracy and detail of the final deliverable. The three levels of detail to consider:

Level One

• √ Presents only overall shapes of modelled parts
• √ Most often used for general studies of larger installations and for clash detection applications.

Level Two

• √ Our most popular, sufficient in most applications
• √ Balanced between high level of detail and time (cost) consumption

Level Three

• √ Highest level of detail for superior accuracy
• √ Recommended for models which will be used for visualizations, or for very sensitive designing works
